FCH1-Display a check

FCH1- Display check information

Business scenario– FCH1 is used to display the check information. You can view details of the check and also check the payment document from there.

Menu path– Access via the path

Accounting- Financial Accounting- Accounts Payable-Environment-Check information- display-FCH1 display check information.

 

Or access directly through the transaction code FCH1

 

Enter the following information

1-Paying company code -Enter the company code on which the check was created.

2- House Bank

3- Account ID

4- Check number

 

If you do not have this information, click on the check number field and do a dropdown

 

And hit enter. It will fetch a list of check numbers. Choose the check number that you want and hit enter.

 

If you do not see an option of entering information on this screen, click on the little yellow arrow. This will open up the screen, and you can then enter more information.

 

Enter the company code and any other information you have and then choose from the checks that it displays.

 

You can now see all the information for this check.

 

If you want information for the payment document, click on the payment document icon.

 

This will take you to the payment document.

 

Click on back and go back to the main screen.

Click on the check recipient to view details of who the check was made out to.

 

 

Click on the green arrow and go back to the main screen and click on the pencil icon to change the check information.

 

Change any information that you need to update.

The check encashment date is updated when a check is cashed at the bank. We will need to update the encashment date to reflect the correct status of the check.
